The Scene
David’s Bistro was opened in 1998 by David Chapman — already an esteemed London chef — and quickly became a venerated downtown London culinary anchor. The classic French bistro motif, with a small and elegant bar and vibrant red walls, perfectly matches the traditional approach to service and attention to detail managed by Natalie Chapman.

Menu Highlights
Chef Elvis Drennan continues to deliver great food with his long time Sous Chef Rick Hunt and Garde Manger Andrew Woolcox-Howe. They present perfectly executed classic regional French-inspired specialties. The emphasis is on authentic country cuisine with high quality ingredients, demonstrating their philosophy that simplicity, seasonality and purity are the hallmarks of good cooking.
The chalkboard prix-fixe menu changes daily, in tune with the seasons and the availability of special items. The interesting wine list also varies, with a range of carefully selected consignment wines listed on a separate blackboard, augmenting regular favourites.
Classic bistro fare can also be pre-ordered for Sunday pickup and delivery to heat and serve at home. The menu changes weekly.
