From Our Family to Yours
One of the most celebrated offerings is the sweet and juicy Heeman’s strawberries, grown here on our farm. From June through to the first frost (usually mid-October), you’ll find the best freshly picked strawberries for purchase. Heading to the cottage or having a little one sleeping in the car? The Berry Drive Thru is the healthiest drive thru in town, allowing you to quickly grab seasonal local produce (like cherries, peaches or strawberries) in the summer months without leaving the comfort of your car.
For a total strawberry experience, the Pick Your Own Berry Patch is open seasonally in mid-June for a few short but really sweet weeks!

Conceived by husband and wife team Tom and Susan (3rd generation Heemans!), Heeman’s Cider & Mead produces award-winning, unique, small-batch, handcrafted ciders and meads onsite. Using the finest local ingredients, including Heeman’s own strawberries and honey harvested from their apiary, a core selection is available year round on the farm, with exciting new seasonal releases launched regularly.
The Berry Beanery
No trip to Heeman’s would be complete without a visit to the cozy Berry Beanery, open year-round. Warm up your senses with a steaming cup of coffee, a frothy latte, or a soothing cup of tea. Indulge in the signature strawberry sundaes or milkshakes (delicious vegan alternatives are available too), lovingly prepared by talented “Berristas”. You can also browse from the selection of quality preserves like jams, honey, pickles, and beets crafted with simple local ingredients, ensuring you take a taste of Heeman’s home with you.
