LONDON BREWING Brewing Up Some Very Different Beer

Local. Organic. Cooperative. These three words are the cornerstones of London Brewing’s entire philosophy. One of only a handful of certified organic breweries in the province, you’ll find they do things very differently here. They’re also a worker- owned cooperative, with a dedicated team of worker-owners expertly brewing and serving outstanding locally-focused beers.

The Scene
Nestled in the heart of London’s charming Old East Village, London Brewing prides itself on its “neighbourhood hub” feel. They build community through their numerous events throughout the week including live music, Euchre tournament, and Trivia Night.
Enjoy some truly local beers in their inviting taproom or on one of two different patio spaces. Don’t forget to grab some brews to go from the fully stocked retail shop on the way out!

The Beers
Unofficially, these are some of the most local beers you can get. All of London Brewing’s beers are brewed right there on Burbrook Street using the best quality local ingredients they can find. Strong relationships with local maltsters resulted in London Brewing being crowned Canada’s first Craft Malt Certified brewery.

Along with a lengthy list of rotating seasonals, and their newly launched Seltzer Series, be sure to give these two brews a try:
• London Organic Lager: crisp, clear, and ultra drinkable, with enough body to keep things interesting. An instant classic.
• Organic Hazy IPA: Juicy, hazy, and super smooth; an IPA complex enough for IPA lovers but smooth enough for skeptics.

The Food
The newly launched On The Move Eats kitchen operates within London Brewing with a creative self-serve menu that you order from with your phone. Expect explicitly local comfort food and simple fare — perfect for sharing -— like Fries with Spicy Kimchi or a Pulled Pork Pizza. Catering, with a local focus of course, is also available.
