The Scene

Located in the quaint town of Shakespeare, 10 minutes from Stratford, the brewery is located on the main highway through town in a building once used as a school bus garage. Husband and wife team Ayden and Katie were inspired by travels in Europe in 2014 and saw this could be the perfect space for a welcoming and kid-friendly (they have two youngsters) brewery. The brew house includes a small retail space where beers are available to purchase in 500ml bottles, 473ml cans, or 355ml cans. Enjoy a free sample or a glass inside the cozy English-style taproom. In warmer weather grab a seat on the beer garden patio, surrounded by cascading hops. Snacks are available or you can bring your own food!

Beer Highlights

Six core brands and a variety of limited releases and seasonal brews ensure there is something interesting for everyone. Favourites include: The Reckless Rooster — Ontario Pale Ale, mildly bitter with balanced malt character and 100% Ontario-grown ingredients; The Classy Cow — Milk Stout, creamy smooth, dark malt with sweet finish; The Grumpy Goat — IPA, strong, bitter pine-like flavour from extra Zeus & Chinook hops.
