Owners Jess Jazey-Spoelstra and Harmen Spoelstra opened The River Room and put Museum London on the local dining map. The exceptional menu reflects Jess’ culinary philosophy “to create exceptional food at reasonable prices,” with lots of New York-style bravado.
Since 2014, the stylish Rhino Lounge Bakery & Coffee Shoppe has been know for its sleek ambience, creative menu, specialty coffees and outstanding baked goods.
The Scene
The River Room offers outstanding food and service in a stunning space with fabulous views of the The Forks of the Thames and the old courthouse. A sophisticated design sensibility is reflected in the cuisine and the stylish and relaxed interior. The ambience is warm and friendly, with glass, leather and linen textural elements.
Menu Highlights
The talented culinary team delivers well-executed features, including the signature East Coast Lobster Roll and a variety of sharing plates, entrée-sized salads like the perennial favourite River Room Cobb Salad, Napoli-style pizza, and mains from Seared Sea Scallops to Pan Roasted Tuscan Salmon or Crispy Skinned Spatchcock Hen.

The River Room’s prix fixe Brunch Menu features a dozen dishes, including a classic Eggs Benedict or Belgian Waffles cooked to order.
Über Pastry Chef Michele Lenhardt raises desserts at both locations to a new level. Try the River Room’s Chocolate Bomb or Seasonal Crostada and the popular Cronuts at the Rhino Lounge, with superb coffee, espresso, cappuccino and lattes, as well as vegan Mac ’n’ Cheese, Sausage Rolls, Cheesecake and Dutchies.
