Brickhouse Brewpub Taproom

The first and only independent craft brewer in Oxford County, UTBC produces award-wining, high quality beer entirely in-house, in two Woodstock locations. The brewery opened in 2016 and Brickhouse Brewpub, featuring a full kitchen offering beer-infused pub fare, opened in 2019.

The beautiful Upper Thames Brewing Co.’s open concept taproom features a Canadiana outdoor theme. Sit at the live-edge bar for a full view of the brewhouse in action. Want to see more? The Upper Thames Brewed Exploration Experience Brewing From Grain to Glass takes you backstage. Compare flavour profiles of each grain in a blind beer-tasting test. Bottle your own Dark Side Stout and cap it by hand. Create a customized label. Then head back out to the taproom to enjoy a signature paddle featuring three locally-sourced ingredients and one awesome “partnership” brew. Custom experiences are available. Brickhouse Brewpub

Across town, Brickhouse Brewpub is an extension of Upper Thames Brewing Co., set in a historic powerhouse for an old hospital. A Canadiana/Industrial motif with live-edge tables and bar and a large secluded patio offers a warm place to enjoy an interesting draft, with 12 UTBC taps and another dozen taps rotating other Ontario craft beers, along with a full bar and wine options. This is a production facility too, so there’s a store for bottles and growlers to go. A full kitchen offers traditional beer-infused pub grub with local twists. Try the Brickhouse Burger — a fresh groundchuck patty with beer-braised onions, bacon jam, Gunn’s Hill cheese curds & Timberbeast Brown Ale gravy on a soft brioche bun.
