The Scene
Originally the Somerville Box Factory and later the O-Pee-Chee Candy Factory, an impressive turn-of-the-century yellow brick building has been lovingly converted into a multi-use space. Tall ceilings, original wood floors, exposed brick work and large windows create a bright, inviting and relaxing space for Willie’s Café. Comfortable seating, fresh flowers, and outstanding food and service complete the picture.
Menu Highlights
Local suppliers and vendors are supported. All the beef, turkey, pork and chicken are cooked in-house to ensure a fresh, preservative-free meal. Freshly baked goods are all produced on premises, and even the full Espresso Bar features coffee roasted in the building, by Fire Roasted Coffee. Invigorate your morning with your favourite caffeine beverage, muffin, donut or sweet, and Willie’s Kickstart Breakfast Sandwich — made with espresso mayo!
Other recommendations include the sautéed Warm Spinach Salad topped with crumbled feta cheese; the signature Cranberry Turkey Wrap; and the Jerk Chicken Wrap — oven-roasted, sautéed and spicy on a flour tortilla with curried mayonnaise.
